About Sonny Saggar, MD

Sonny Saggar trained in England, at Oxford and at St. Bartholomew's Hospital Medical College, and spent twenty five years practicing emergency medicine before a federal indictment and incarceration. He wrote GROUND: How to Lose Everything and Still Have Somewhere to Stand by hand during his sentence in a federal prison camp, and completed it after his release. He is a physician who walked through the criminal justice system and writes about regulatory systems, administrative law, and collateral consequences from the inside.
